Join us for a very special Muay Thai Seminar, with guest Kru Nestor Marte! Kru Nestor is Luis first Muay Thai coach and has extensive knowledge in a variety of martial arts. Come and learn some Muay Thai as well as some of the culture behind the martial art as well!

History:
Started training Martial Arts since the age of 14. In 1990 started training and specializing Muay Thai and in early 1991 decide to live, train and compete in Thailand. After 7 years of hard training was fortunate to be one of the few or the only American certified by three of the top Muay Thai camps in Bangkok.
In 1996 stated teaching in NYC and Ultimate gym was founded in in 1997. Taking ownership in 2000 Ultimate Gym is one the oldest Muay Thai gyms in NYC and the first to bring authentic Thai trainers, and champions most often Master trainer of Saktaywan Ajarn prasit Thangdong to NYC.
Also in 2000 decide to move to live in Rio de Janeiro to learn the ground fighting submission no gi style of Luta Livre under legendary Vale Tudo and Luta Livre master Eugenio Tadeu. In 2004 receiving a blue belt in Luta Livre. taking advantage of living in Brazil kru Nestor also seeked out other Luta Livre and Vale Tudo masters Denilson Maia and getting a certificate of completion of basics.
In 2006 after meeting Eugenio Tadeus top black belt and 7 x Shooto MMA champion Alexandre Pequeno Noguiera decide to become his student and 2007 promoted to purple belt. After many years of training in Brazil and bring his instructors to Ultimate Gym to teach Luta Livre and MMA kru Nestor was awarded his brown belt in 2012 by Professor Leonardo Noguiera.
